What stays on your device
Pixel Clean separates photo editing from account sign-in. The two flows use different data.
Photos and edits
Your source photo, selection mask, and edited result are processed in your browser. The editor does not send their bytes or your file name to our account API.
The current edit and batch queue live in browser memory. You choose when to download a result; leaving or reloading the editor clears that in-memory work.
Model downloads
The browser downloads public AI model files when needed. The model host may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, but the model request does not include your photo or selection mask.
Your browser may cache public model files. Those files are the same for every user and do not contain your edits.
Accounts and sign-in
You can use Free editing without signing in. If you choose email sign-in, we send a short-lived link to your address. If you choose Google, Google handles the identity step and returns account details needed to sign you in.
The account service stores your email, name, optional profile image, and sign-in provider identifiers. If you use Google sign-in, its account record can also store Google access and refresh tokens in encrypted form. The ID token is used only for that sign-in verification and is not saved to the account database. Active sessions can record your IP address and browser User-Agent. A protected cookie keeps you signed in; we do not store a long-lived session token in browser local storage.
Expired session records are removed during the next daily cleanup. The sign-in service uses your IP address and a keyed digest of your email address to limit repeated requests and reduce abuse; rate-limit records are removed during daily cleanup once their stored timestamp is at least 24 hours old.
You can delete your account from the account page. This removes its identity, connected sign-in records, sessions, and current plan record. For security, an older session must sign in again first. Expired sign-in link records are cleared daily.
Payments and measurement
Pro purchasing is not available yet, so Pixel Clean does not currently process payments. This explanation will be updated before payment is enabled.
We do not currently collect editor analytics. In particular, we do not collect photos, masks, file names, EXIF, or text found inside your images for analytics.
